My Project
The projector in our classroom has been dark all year. Our tech person replaced the bulb, but it seems there is a problem with the projector. He's tried to find another one, but all of the projectors we have are broken or dark like the one we have now. This makes it extremely difficult for students to see the screen when we take notes or if we watch a video. We close the shades and turn off all the lights, but the projector is still not bright enough. Students struggle to see the notes and this makes it more challenging for them to understand the concepts.
This new projector would make the world of difference in our classroom, as students would be able to see the notes and images we use daily in Algebra 1, Geometry, and Statistics.
This particular projector has been recommended by our tech person at school and it would be so helpful for students to have access to a clearer picture for all of our lessons. Many of my students lack confidence in math, so if they have trouble seeing the notes and that interferes with their understanding, then they get discouraged and some try to give up. This projector would help me and my co-teachers prevent that.
