Math comes alive when students can see, touch, and interact with the concepts they're learning.
My 9th-grade math class thrives on hands-on activities and creative problem-solving, but we need the right tools to make these moments happen.
To help them engage more effectively, I'm requesting supplies that will make math more dynamic and enjoyable:
-Patty paper for geometry activities, like exploring transformations and angles.
-Dry erase markers and reusable write-on sleeves to create sustainable practice opportunities during group and individual work.
- Pencil erasers to keep their work neat as they refine their problem-solving skills.
- Scissors for cutting patty paper and other materials during interactive lessons.
- Candy rewards to celebrate their collaboration, hard work and progress.
These supplies will create an interactive classroom where students explore math hands-on, build confidence, and celebrate their progress in a fun and engaging way.
