This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have had a difficult time learning their multiplication facts. Additionally, simplifying fractions, learning greatest common factor and multiples has proven to be a visual challenge.
Providing them with a tangible representation of how to simply fractions, count using multiples and finding the greatest common factors has proven to be successful using this tool.
Changing the mindset on how children learn multiplication will yield higher academic success. That is why each child needs to have their personal multiplication chart. Currently each child has access to one multiplication pop it.
