This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This projects focus is on math materials. My transitional kindergarten students are eager little learners, that learn best through hands on activities. The number locks would help students work on their counting and number recognition. The cookie jar will also be a fun way to have students learn!
Addition is another skill that many of my higher students are beginning to work on.
Sometimes we focus on the lower leveled students and forget that some of our students really need a challenge! These addition activities will be great for students to get that hands on work.
In our classroom we are always working on our art skills. The added construction paper will help us have materials to do some of those fun art activities.
