My Project
My students work so hard to understand math. All of my students are learning disabled. They deserve to have the best resources to understand math!
The students will use the dice and resources to play math games from The Dsycalclulia Resource book.
This practical book draws on Ronit Bird’s teaching experience to create detailed strategies and teaching plans for students aged 9-16 who have difficulties with number. Activities and games are used to teach numeracy skills in these key areas: number components, bridging, multiplication, division and reasoning strategies.
Students will use the dot markers with the index cards to make 10 frames. This will help the students see ways to make 10.
The higher level students will use the Cuisinare rods to build and compare fractions.
