My Project
Our middle schoolers are working on becoming problem solvers and critical thinkers. Math games allow students to work independently, with a partner and in teams. They challenge students to think steps ahead and sharpen math skills.
Our students need time to step away from devices to collaborate and strategize face to face.
The middle schooler's world is filled with screens which can be isolating. Playing games together unites students with a common goal.
Math manipulatives will be used to help bring concepts like surface area and volume to life. These tools can be used for basic understanding as well creative challenges to push higher level thinking.
