This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The math games enthusiast would like the opportunity to use board games during math class to support their learning.
My students are from the back of the yards in Chicago.
This area is consider high level poverty. They attend a Chicago Public School in the south side of the city. The supplies requested for this project are essential to their development and success.
My Project
These resources are essential to the academic growth of these first graders. Being able to use hands-on games during math class will increase their knowledge and understanding. Math manipulatives along with board games activities will increase their overall math comprehension.
