My Project
Despite having different learning needs and styles, they share a common enthusiasm for hands-on learning and problem-solving. I’ve seen how games increase the engagement when learning is more interactive and when they’re given opportunities to work together. The math spinners create an opportunity for gameplay with partners or in small groups, which my students love. They love to teach each other, and games are such an engaging means to learning! I want to offer my students these opportunities along with class store rewards that they enjoy working towards.
The items I’ve selected would help my students in meaningful ways.
Fidget toys, slappy hands, and other small rewards—helps create an incentive that students can earn and look forward. Sometimes adding rewards to a classroom store, encourages students to work hard, reinforce good behavior and create a sense of accomplishment.
My students bring their own unique strengths and are motivated to learn, but they also like opportunities to celebrate their progress along the way. The rewards and incentives in the classroom store will give them something to look forward to while reinforcing the value of hard work.
