My Students

My students are some of the most amazing kids out there. Our school is in the middle of military housing.

All of my students are military dependents.

They spend their days seeing a parent off to work in that military uniform knowing they are fighting for our country. Many of them see that parent leave, knowing they won't see them for six to nine months and in some cases, even up to a year.

They don't complain. This is their life and it is an important one. I work everyday with some of the most amazing children who come to class eager to learn and share their experiences with me.

My Project

I want nothing more than to be in my classroom supporting my students in person. The reality is that isn't going to happen right now.

My students need materials they can put in their hands to help solidify our math objectives.

These tools will help my students learn to count and to see parts of a whole. They will help my students learn to add and subtract. By having these tools available during our online lessons, I know we can work on the same thing at the same time with the same tools.

These tools need to be kept safe and organized. The pouches will help them do that. Help me help my students.
