This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
More than half of the students in our school come from low income households. COVID-19 has significantly impacted learning and many of my students still lack the math fluency skills that will allow them to be successful academically.
With your donation, my students will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to become fluent in math.
The number line boards, ten frames, and other math tools requested for this project will allow my students to learn while they play and practice using games and manipulatives that will strengthen their math knowledge, understanding, and fluency.
