My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. The obstacles my students must overcome each day makes me want to work harder for them. Watching them grow throughout the year is one of my greatest treasures.

Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

All students want to learn but some struggle to stay engaged and complete tasks due to low fluency development. Using the iPad will help students master the basic skills needed for success in math.

Imagine reading a book and every other word you have to sound out or look up the definition.

The book would loose all meaning and pleasure in it. The same holds true for math and basic facts. If you have to constantly work out basic facts to solve a complex problem then you will not be able to focus on the math at hand.

The IPad will allow the students time to master these skills.
