This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to school every day eager to learn. They are hard working and excited about their accomplishments. Many of them are English Language Learners and 100% receive a free breakfast and lunch daily.
Recently at parent/teacher conferences, many parents expressed a desire to help their students with their learning at home.
Many admitted that they didn't know how and/or didn't have the resources.
I am requesting resources for my students to use at home with their families to improve their math skills. The activities I've requested (Family Engagement Math packs) are engaging and have directions in both English and Spanish.
I know that my students and their parents will have fun using these materials to increase their math skills.
