Help me give my students multiplication and division math facts 0-12 materials so that they can more easily retrieve the facts to solve bigger math problems in the future.
Repetition is a key factor in learning which is why I am requesting funds for various math facts materials. This project focuses on materials for multiplication and division facts 0-12 that I will be utilizing in my small groups. Every brain works in its own unique way which is why there are various sets of materials. This gives my students the opportunity to see the different methods to solve the problems so that they can choose the method that works best for them moving forward.
Being able to quickly solve beginner math facts for multiplication and division creates an important stepping stone to learning future curriculum.
It is much easier and less frustrating to solve a long multiplication or division problem when you can quickly retrieve the smaller facts within the problem. We've all experienced frustration when trying to do something new at some point in our lives. That frustration can make you want to give up at times. My goal is to eliminate that frustration so that my kiddos can enjoy learning new things and thrive.
