This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The math machines and games will increase students' addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division fluency. Students in my class are in tier three intervention and need more hands-on manipulatives to help them master their math facts. This project will help my students meet their MTSS goals and make gains in their math fluency.
My students require more support, so there is a need for hands-on manipulatives.
Having hands-on materials allows students to make progress in meeting their math goals and sets them up for success in the general education classroom and outside of the classroom.
