Math Fact Fluency

Help me give my students their own set of flashcards to help them increase their fact fluency.

My Project

Knowing math facts with automaticity greatly improves math computation. My students tend to get math problems wrong, not because they do not understand the algorithms, but because they simply do not know their math facts.

It is my hope that by having their own set of home math flashcards my students will practice more and memorize their facts more quickly.

I am also hoping that families will interact with their children and help increase their fact fluency by playing games, quizzing them, and supporting them.

I believe in my students and with a little extra hands-on, visualize support they will be able to memorize their facts and have a solid foundation for understanding math.
