it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My scholars are awesomeness overload! Every school year they give me life with their curiosity for knowledge and love for learning. They brighten my day as I watch them take on academic challenges and excel.
I am proud to say that my love for math will be passed on to my scholars this 2023-2024.
This school year our focus will be Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI). Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) is a student-centered approach to teaching math. It starts with what your students already know and builds on their natural number sense and intuitive approaches to problem solving. Materials like storage bins, cork boards, whiteboard labels, and magnets will be used to display and house students’ CGI materials.
