My Students
My students love challenges, engaging activities, exploring our world, and creating. Life is an adventure and they are ready to explore, gain knowledge and take off! My students are eager to learn and have a thirst to master and fully understand their world. Providing them with hands-on experiences, so they may learn by doing, is the most exciting and fulfilling way to lead them to learn well and live better!
As a sea sponge soaks in its environment, my students show up each day ready to soak in the new concepts presented to them daily!
It is my heart's desire to make the classroom as meaningful, engaging, and exciting to explore as possible. I want to lead them not only to a mastery of skills but engage them on a level that will equip them to explore concepts and create with confidence. Adventure awaits these students! It is an exciting time to be a student and to be alive. Incorporating tradition, technology, and hands-on learning will surely manifest a learning environment in which my sponges will thrive.
My Project
In the light of COVID-19, my super students need a deeper, clearer understanding of math concepts in order to maintain, deepen, or clearly understand standards. Let's get these students engaged in the learning! Hands-on math is the way to go for all ages of students. Hands-on gets their attention, allows for exploration, and engages students in exploring! With the math manipulatives, students will go beyond just listening to me teach. The students will be able to touch, explore and engage with concepts, instead of just hearing about them!
