My Project
Third graders are fun, energetic and love learning! This is a big year, in which kids learn a lot of new math concepts, like multiplication, division, and thinking about fractions as numbers. In my class, we work hard, and we play a lot.
By playing with math ideas in fun ways with each other, their learning is reinforced.
Kids build math fluency, and talk about the ideas together. These discussions are where the magic of learning happen! Third graders just love to play games with each other and don't even realize they are practicing their facts.
All of the books, games, and resources I have chosen are high quality resources that promote rich mathematical thinking in a fun way.
