My Project
First graders have an unique capacity of breaking down mathematical practices despite their socioeconomic status. Watching them grow into their mathematical thinking is so exciting.
Creating a passion for Math while giving solid foundational skills is the goal of my math lessons.
While precise content is the key, using manipulatives in a small area support the goal.
All students should have access to math which is a gateway to a brighter future. These materials will help to create an organized area to open up mathematical thinking to a higher level.
