I am a kindergarten teacher at Walker Gamble Elementary in New Zion, SC. We currently have 26 students in our class. Each day is an exciting journey into the kingdom of learning. One of my goals for this year is to incorporate more math experiences into our day. The children love animals and science, so I have chosen a set of counting books that feature a variety of creatures - small to large, domestic and wild - to use in our classroom. The set includes six hardcover titles. Hardcover books will serve children for many years to come! The books will be used on a daily basis. I often read the same book every day for an entire week. I have found that this really helps to enhance their word recognition and vocabulary skills. These books would be a great addition to our classroom. Thanks for you consideration and support.
