This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a group of children that have different needs and preferences. The use of manipulatives in small group activities and in the math center provides added support for classifying, counting, sorting, and measuring.
The variety of materials will allow teachers to rotate materials as needed and engage students during small groups and individually for self-selected activities.
Having a variety of materials to support our math development is a great way to reach the different preferences that our students have. What a fun way for students to learn!
