Math Class Unleashed

My Project

Any teacher will tell you that it is best to be moving around the room throughout a lesson. This provides a huge boost to student engagement. My current setup has me feeling leashed to the podium at the front of the class. I use a document camera that connects to a chromebook which is hooked up to a projector via HDMI cable.

This tablet will let me cut the cords tethering me to my podium.

It will allow me to navigate slides and add notes to them from anywhere in the room.

In addition to giving me more freedom, the tablet will also assist in getting my students more involved in lessons. With class sizes of up to 33 kids, the room is very cramped and can be difficult to navigate. Instead of students having to make their way to the whiteboard, I could bring the tablet to them. The kids will be to show off their work from their seats.
