Help me give my students an amazing math centers experience! our students love to learn hands-on and we want to continue helping them by using games! We want students to love math and see how fun it is.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Inside of our classroom, we want students to experience hands on math instead of using programs on their devices. When want to incorporate math centers, these materials will allow for us to meet in small groups and know that our students can be success and have fun independently! We want to turn guess who, into a math guess who by changing out the characters to geometric shapes. The power pen kids will allow for students to hear the answer and visually see it. They will also get a response right away to help them continue to grow. We want our students to not just sit down in their desks, but be able to move around the classroom and have the freedom to have fun with these new math games!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
