My students need a math folder games library set, math learning center, and math practice cards for different activities that they can do independently while I work with small groups. The items I am requesting our hands-on, engaging activities.

My Students
My focus is to get students engaged and take responsibility for their own education. Having interactive centers gets the students involved and makes them responsible for the work they put into it.
I am teaching a 3rd grade classroom.
Most students are new to 3rd grade but there are a few students who are repeating. They like to be up and moving and hands-on in their learning. Some like to work in group while others prefer to work with others. This project will help both types of students.
My Project
My students will be using the math folder games library set, math learning center, math practice cards, and other materials every day. Part of our math program will be small group. This gives students the opportunity to work with the teacher in areas where they are struggling. While I am meeting with the small groups the rest of the students will be working with the materials that I am requesting.
This project will make a difference because it will get students excited for math and give them responsibility for their work.
The centers will focus on common core and cover a whole year's worth of lessons.
