My Project
My math block is changing from a whole-group instructive model to a more hands-on, small-group model to meet the needs of all the levels in my class. These materials will help me plan, prep, and organize student activities. I'd love to get your support in providing these activities and materials to help us run and organize our centers!
My goal is to get all my students excited about math by creating fun centers for my students.
While I am working in small groups, some students will be working on math fluency while playing board games with flash cards. Students cannot take their turn until they answer the flash card's fluency math problem.
In my DonorsChoose, I included the different flashcards I will need for these centers, STEM Bin options for students who finish their independent practice work quickly, plastic sleeves to organize my independent work center materials, and board games for students to use with the flash cards.
