My Project

My class is full of eager and curious 4 and 5 year old students who love to learn. In Transitional Kindergarten (TK), we get to take our time exploring foundational concepts in mathematics while also building our communication skills.

Playing is how we learn in TK, and having hands-on math centers will help keep my students engaged in their learning.

Our light table is the perfect independent center for TK students, and having a variety of manipulatives will help my students with patterning and attributes. Ramp building is a perfect way to learn about foundational STEM skills. Counting and matching numbers is a skill we are always working on, and having a nuts and bolts center will keep my students interested while also strengthening their fine motor skills.
