Spring City is a small rural town in the heart of Utah. Many students come from low-income families and opportunities are quite limited because of money and/or distance. Providing enriching experiences are important to help students gain a top-quality education.
My Project
Students definitely excel when they are motivated. Having math centers with a review of concepts allows students to be actively engaged while learning at the same time.
Quickie math centers give students the opportunity to be highly engaged in practicing math concepts.
Anything that can bring a fun change to the daily "worksheet" is a GREAT way to help students have a positive experience while solidifying their math concepts and skills. Centers are a popular way to help students receive individualized attention and be able to progress at their own pace and level.
