Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a special day class with 15 Kinder-2nd graders. I have students with a wide range of disabilities and they are kinesthetic learners. They are kinesthetic learners and benefit from multi-modality forms of learning to stay engaged and motivated to learn.
All my students rotate into centers for math and they enjoy their centers because they get to use many different tools to learn.
We use many activities during phonics and math centers because it is a fun and engaging way for my students to learn skills. These fun games will be more engaging and they will practice the skills they need to develop.
If we can get the center activities, we can add more engaging tools and materials to our phonics and math centers. This will also help them work collaboratively and build language in centers.
