My Project
Kids need math manipulatives. Sure, they're fun. But they're also a necessary tool when helping kids understand abstract concepts.
Math can be challenging for kids under normal circumstances, but even more so after the curveballs that came with Covid.
My kids pushed through some of the most difficult situations the past few years, and I want to do everything in my power to make the next year of learning as fun as possible.
So, I'm going into this school year with a few new ideas and strategies for building my students' understanding of foundational math skills. The tools you provide will build the confidence of my second graders. They will be used in small group instruction with me, and during math games/centers with their peers.
Seeing a struggling child light up when they finally understand a tough topic is priceless. Many thanks sent your way if you help those moments happen in my class this year!
