My Project

I want to help reluctant math students to realize math can be relevant and creative. I want them to see that they can use math to create art. I have chosen some activity books and art activity books to be used during enrichment times and I have chosen some big picture art books to show students how connected math is to our world and the things we do every day.

Math is beautiful to me and many of these students have become jaded and wary about math from years of testing.

I want them to see that there is beauty in math as well. Our title 1 school never has extra funds for enrichment like this. It would be a great addition to our classroom.
