My class works very hard! We love math and science. We spend so much time focusing on math each day. For some of us, we struggle. By the end of the school year, I want each and every one of my students to be on level in every subject, especially in math.
My students are very smart.
With the new math curriculum, we are working very hard to fill in gaps. They struggle in math and get discouraged and frustrated. They really care about their grades and achievement in school. I am proud to see that they have an internal motivation to succeed. I want them to be confident and I want them to keep wanting to learn and grow.
My Project
My students need a listening center caddy, CD player, dry erase boards, Hot Dots center sets, science and math centers, rulers, a mini projector, science books. My students will use these materials to help them succeed. The materials I have selected will allow me to project the math lessons onto the screen. The white boards will assist them in participating in the lessons from their seat. My students will be able to use most of the materials in centers. Being able to put them in centers will allow me to work in small groups and one-on-one with students who need a little more help. The materials will also allow those students who already "got it" to further their understanding of the concepts being taught.
Donations to my project will allow me to work individually with students.
