Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is my eighth year teaching, seven of those years were in second grade. This is a year where the students are becoming very independent but still need that safety net.

My students come to my classroom every day excited to learn!

They are eager to do well and are always on their A-Game; these children deserve every resource and help they can get to help them excel in their education. I want them to overcome any obstacle by learning in a positive, healthy, and happy environment. They have the potential to become whatever they want, and we can get them there by instilling the love for learning at a young age.

My Project

I am requesting materials which will make a difference by giving my students the opportunity for hands on learning. The STEM resources will enforce higher level thinking and socializing and team work between their peers.

The iPad charging station will ensure that all of the iPads we have in the classroom will be easily charged, giving the students the maximin time to go on the apps that we use daily.

The students will also benefit from the place value flip chart, place value can be a bit confusing, I believe that with these charts, the students will get the visual to help them distinguish each number with the place it is in.
