This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in my class love to read and need new additions to our library to make our library more diverse and to add math books. We also need a color printer to print pictures and our projects. Therefore we are in need of books and a printer.
We want our classroom to reflect us all and to be filled with colorful pictures and projects of us.
My students love to have their pictures taken and have colorful work displayed throughout our classroom and halls.
Consider donating to make our room colorful and equitable to each and every child.
My Project
My students enjoy reading. Our library needs a few more books that are related to math. These books will help them see math in everyday problems which will make math more purposeful. They enjoy solving problems and sharing strategies.
They also love to see themselves in pictures as they work on different activities.
Such as reading, working in groups and writing different genres. We need a color printer to enhance our classroom with beautiful pictures of them working and beautifully printed projects they have completed.
