Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am constantly looking for new ways to use the materials we already have in our classroom as well as new things we can incorporate into our repertoire. The new plastic letters will allow students to explore spelling and writing in a fun way. The magnetic writing practice boards will give them an alternative to paper and pencil when practicing writing.
The students are amazed when we find new ways to play with the same old toys.
The new pattern block design and activity cards will give them an another way to how we always use pattern blocks. The parquetry blocks will provide an alternative to pattern blocks. The light-up activity center will provide a new way to look at shapes.
Chain links are a resource students love to use to build numbers and make patterns. The TPT card will allow me to purchase new and engaging resources to use with the new materials. The zippered bags will be used to store the new supplies so that they are more accessible to students.
