This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 24 kindergarten students in my classroom this year. This is many of my student's first year in school away from their parents. I have a great group of kids this year, and I want them to have everything they need to be successful. My students are sweet and eager to learn. I work with each student to fit their needs.

My Project

I am asking for puzzles, games, and other supplies for my students to have as part of their literacy and math centers. These materials will help my students stay engaged in their independent learning so that I can pull small groups. It is so important for centers to run smoothly in a kindergarten classroom because this is the time that I have to work with small groups of students and teach them the academic content at their level.

These games, puzzles, and supplies will help the students that are not working with a teacher practice the alphabet and counting.

The materials that I am requesting will help my kindergarten students work independently on the learning objectives while having fun. Please consider donating to my project to help my kindergarten students stay engaged while working independently.
