My Students
My students are creative and innovative twenty-first-century learners who are looking for opportunities to connect with the world around them. Fifty-six percent of these students are economically disadvantaged.
I would love to see these students get to experience some new STEM activities that they have not seen in the lab before.
To witness the smile on the face of a child when they see something new and fun, we know it's the perfect opportunity to stimulate their love for learning. When they are engaged they can reach a higher potential towards success as they work through the challenges.
These students embrace challenges and are eager to learn new skills and technologies. My campus is a place where students thrive when new challenges come their way and would love to have a few more STEM choices in our lab.
My Project
The materials from this donation will be used during Open Stem Lab every morning at our school. Students can sign up to go to various places around the school for extra activities before the official start of the school day, STEM Lab is one of their choices.
The Stem Toys I am requesting will help spark an interest in Math and Engineering in a fun and exciting way!
By adding these developmental toys to our collection, it will help to keep the students engaged with more choices throughout the upcoming year.
