The students in my class are in a low-income/high poverty school district. Students in our class range from those with preschool experience to those with no school experience. There are a variety of learning styles in our class. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they may face, I am looking to make my students fall in love with learning.
These kindergartners are eager to learn.
They take pride in their academic growth and love to show what they can do.
My Project
We are in need of centers to make learning fun! During our math and ELA block students are able to work independently. I would like to provide fun and engaging activities with plenty of options for students to choose which activity they would like to do.
Kindergarten should be fun and engaging!
I like to let students be in charge of their own learning! When students have a variety of choices during centers they are more engaged and focus. We are planning to use Play dough for stamping letters and numbers, counting, and creating. Various alphabet centers will be used to help students gain alphabet fluency! We are planning to have fun while learning!
