My Project
The books I have chosen connect art and mathematics. Links are formed through beautiful illustrations and descriptions. The books will be used in lesson planning and to help individual students get inspired. My goal is to include specific information with references to art history and nature when describing how composition in art works with the golden ratio and how this relates to both art and math. The books help us discover how tessellations and geometry can be used in art and how we see it in nature. My students are curious and eager to learn. My job is to make it fascinating and magical to feed their curiosity.
