My Project
An iPad Pro would significantly enhance my ability to create interactive and engaging lessons that captivate my students' attention. At the beginning of the school year, I creatively utilized my iPad to teach math online, using vibrant graphics and interactive apps that made learning enjoyable. Even after we transitioned back to in-person classes, I continued to rely on my iPad daily, incorporating multimedia presentations and digital tools to enrich my lessons.
However, my device was quite outdated; I had been using it for ten years, and it began showing signs of aging.
Basic tasks took an agonizingly long time, and they frequently shut down unexpectedly, disrupting lessons and frustrating both me and my students. Eventually, it stopped functioning altogether, forcing me to put it aside in the classroom. Since then, I've genuinely missed the powerful learning tool that once helped me engage my students in such dynamic ways.
An iPad Pro will help me with everyday instruction.
I plan to use the iPad to teach math, science, and reading. It will be a projection tool, allowing me to create colorful anchor charts with the class, work on math problems, and annotate reading passages. Because of the hover camera, I want the flexibility to move around the classroom as my lessons progress without being confined to my desk. Since most of our assignments are online, I will also use the iPad to grade papers. The iPad Pro will be an invaluable tool for my classroom.
