Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love the schools that I teach at because of how well we get to know our students. I get to see them still as kids and help shape their minds. Once schools opened back up during the pandemic many classroom dynamics were changed.
A lot of class sets of materials were used for individual use and didn’t return.
I am also at a Title I school where a lot of families aren’t able to supply their students with everything they need.
Using these materials, such as the whiteboards and markers, will limit the amount of paper and pencils students are using. All of these items will help extend my lessons past the book and even the classroom.
