My Students
I teach students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade with Autism. Some of my students are learning to read, write, add and subtract while others are working on multiplying, dividing, research projects, and social skills. My students love interactive learning, anything that helps their sensory overload, and anything that makes learning fun!
My students are silly and sweet and love to share what they learn with others.
They are becoming more independent during free time to learn about what interested them by asking questions and being curious.
My Project
The materials in this project will assist my students in their basic reading and math skills. The fluency cards will assist my students in reading more smoothly to support comprehension and vocabulary. The alphabet sticks will allow my students to focus on the formation of letters in order to help in their writing and their understanding of letters and sounds. The math centers will allow my students to focus on the basic math skills to support high level math problems. The timer will assist my students in transitions as this is a rough time of the day for them.
These materials will allow my students to make leaps and bounds in their educational goals.
They will help me students grow in math ways and allow them to feel a sense of pride in their work as they see the progress that they make.
