My students need construction paper for the classroom so they can get the most out of the projects we do in class. We also need a teaching easel that is magnetic which will help with interactive learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a low socio-economic area with a high population of Hispanic students. So many of my students are bright bilingual students. I truly enjoy coming to work every day to be with these students. They are eager to learn and they inspire me. I have a classroom of 20 beautiful children.
My students are smart, eager, and deserve to have the best materials that they can get in order to be successful in kindergarten.
My classroom does not have a rug and any shelving to store book and materials.
My Project
We are in need of materials that we use all year to help us complete projects that we do in class and at home. These materials will be greatly appreciated. You never realize how much construction paper one class uses in a year. This construction paper will help with all the PBL's we will be conducting throughout the year. The teaching easel is essential for every classroom, and currently, we do not have one. It will truly be used every moment of the day and the students will be more involved with access to a magnetic easel in our classroom.
