My students need a chart for their word study review, markers to complete assignments, glue sticks for hands on activities and stamps for positive reinforcement.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Learning should be fun, but this can only be achieved with the right materials on hand...
As a Special Education teacher, I work with a variety of students in different grade levels ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade.
My students come from a neighborhood in which poverty is high. Some of our students live in a shelter, foster care and housing projects. Approximately, one third (30%) of our student population are identified as special needs students and require extra support and differentiated instruction. Our schools seeks to provide support to the students and their families in many different ways.
My Project
My students will use these materials to complete exciting activities. The pocket chart will help us provide the visual for word study and checklists for assignments that need to be broken down into steps. The markers and glue sticks will allow us to provide the students with added hands on activities that they can complete with dry erase boards or by using glue to create final products. The stamps will be used to provide the positive reinforcement and sense of pride that our students need once they complete their work.
Your donation will have a positive impact in the lives of my students.
They come from a neighborhood in which many resources are needed. You can make their educational journey fun, enjoyable and a positive experience.
