it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredibly resilient, curious, and full of potential. Many of them face challenges outside the classroom—whether it’s limited access to resources at home, language barriers, or other responsibilities beyond their years. But when they walk through the classroom door, they show up with determination, creativity, and a willingness to learn. What makes them truly special is their kindness, their ability to support one another, and their desire to grow despite obstacles.
As a middle school teacher, I see every day how access to basic materials—like pens, sanitizer, filler paper, markers, and organizational tools like the fabric cubes—can make a huge difference in a student’s confidence and academic success.
I am asking for storage cubbies so my students can store the notebooks and writing supplies like markers and paper that they use everyday. I am also asking for some candy to use as small rewards/incentives. My students also need a pencil sharpener so they can be ready to write.
