Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of needs. I am so excited to offer them so more engaging and interactive ways to learn each and every day. Students do not learn by listening, but by doing. Learning is an active process and my students love to learn through active engagement.
Each student in my class deserves the opportunity to an excellent education and this cannot happen without the proper materials.
Many of my students come from homes where they do not speak English. They are an incredible group of kids and I can't wait to see the ways they grow in the next 180 days!
My Project
These resources will help students have a more organized environment where they can access materials quickly. By having the drawer organizer, students access work at their level at the appropriate time without my assistance. As a teacher, is it so important to create opportunities for independence. I am always looking for ways to maximize student instruction time. By providing these materials, I can ensure that students get the most benefit from instruction and are less focused on having quick and easy access to what they need.
Many of the materials they have been reused so it is also important to keep them in good shape.
By laminating my materials, I can be sure that the things they use will stay sturdy and be able to be used again.
