My Students

I have a wonderful group of first graders who are ready for a great year of learning. I have a classroom with 20 students who come from a variety of home lives. Many of my students come from low-income homes, single parents homes, or foster home settings. We are a Title I school, with over 50% of students receiving free lunches.

My Project

This Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me support my students where they are in the classroom. Many are behind due to Covid learning loss and I need extra materials and resources to help students learn at their level. Teachers Pay Teachers is a great place to get these materials and it also supports other teachers and resources they have created. I plan to purchase many phonics and reading materials to help my struggling readers along with some fun science and social studies materials to be able to use with my students.
