Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so eager to create an amazing environment for my first class. Teaching is my calling and my passion, and I am beyond excited to make an impact on my future students. The students I will be teaching all come from many different backgrounds and cultures, so I want to represent them in the best way possible.

These materials I am requesting will help me give my students an amazing learning experience with the tools they need to be successful.

I truly believe if students are surrounded by a positive inviting environment, they will be more excited to learn. The materials such as the bookshelves will be used to create a classroom library that is warm and cozy. I will use the clipboard organizer for students to easily access clipboard to work anywhere in the classroom. I will use the buzzers for fun classroom review games which will increase engagement. I added a blow-up globe for a more fun way to show students important places in our world that we focus on during certain lessons. The microphone will be used a classroom management as well as for fun engagement during lessons. I have also added many organizational items such as a rolling cart to sort lessons, and cup holders to have places for things such as pencils, markers, etc.
