This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten classroom is a pool of great diverse learners. My school day is comprised of several different learning opportunities that are planned out to meet the wide range of academic needs of my young scholars. My students are in charge of their learning by leading the morning routine, followed by working in cooperative groups and peer learning stations. Kindergarten in itself is a new and exciting learning adventure, much more so for young English Language Learners. We need materials that will give young learners the practice needed to master basic skills.
The materials in this project will give my young English Language Learners the support in foundational skills that will lead to self-confidence and academic success.
The workbooks will provide a hard copy of activities that will support each student in learning their basic letter sounds and formation, numbers formation, and many other basic skills needed to springboard their learning.
Your donation to this project will ensure the learning development of my young scholars and give my classroom the academic materials needed to keep everyone focused on their learning. The colorful pages in the books and kid-friendly set up are something my students appreciate while on their learning journey.
