Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are English language learners from many diverse backgrounds. They are wonderful and eager to learn. They like to read and discuss texts to demonstrate their understanding and interests across a wide range of topics. I serve my students through all contents and support them with native language support, scaffolds for English language fluency and ESL instruction.
Students love to share what they know, and are working eagerly to express those thoughts through writing.
These materials will help them develop their phonemic awareness so they can become amazing writers and also phenomenal readers. With more welcoming and engaging spelling and writing centers, our students will feel more welcome to explore the various spelling activities and also participate in fun and engaging writing activities.
