My Students
My students have great ideas, but they need the art materials to help bring them to life! My new school has no supply closet for teachers, so we have to personally provide all of the day-to-day supplies we need for our classrooms on a very limited budget.
My students are sweet, enthusiastic 7th graders in their first year of junior high.
Our school is located in a high-poverty area, in the state with the lowest per-pupil funding in the nation, so we can really use your support! Many of these students don't have access to many resources at home, so a great school environment is even more essential.
My Project
We do a lot of collaborative learning in my classroom, and these materials will help my students be able to share their ideas and make English/Language Arts more interactive and hands-on. I often post students' work around the classroom to help reinforce key concepts we are working on in class or to create excitement about what we are learning.
